Hi, I’m Melissa Jane—better known as MJ—the heart and hands behind the brand.
I’m a proud mom of three beautiful kids, engaged to my high school sweetheart, and a fur mom, too! 💕 When I’m not creating bridal magic, you’ll find me traveling, shopping, enjoying great food, or indulging in some much-needed self-care (espresso martinis, anyone?). Puerto Rico is my home away from home and a constant source of inspiration.
My love for the beauty industry started early—at just seven years old, I dreamed of being a successful hairstylist and makeup artist, living the fabulous NYC life, à la SATC. But life had its own plans! At 19, I became a mom, and while my dreams took a slight detour, I never let them go. With a toddler in tow, I balanced cosmetology school, a waitressing job, and family life, often running on sheer determination (and very little sleep). It wasn’t easy, but I pushed through, driven by my passion for beauty and my unwavering support system.
Today, I’m proud to turn what started as a side hustle into a thriving career, sharing my artistry and helping others feel confident and radiant.
